hololive 0th generation Hoshimachi Suisei released her second album "Specter" on Wednesday, January 25th, 2023. This is the first new album release in about one year and four months since the release of his first album "Still Still Stellar" on September 29th, 2021.
Hoshimachi Suisei announced the release of her second album on January 18th, one week ago, by releasing the pre-listening video "Crossfade", and on the day before the release, she held a countdown broadcast to promote her second album. During the broadcast, she received a variety of interviews, including questions about how she started singing, and she said that she started singing naturally since she was young, but when asked why she wanted to become an idol, she said it was thanks to "Idol Master", and although she had failed a hololive once, she was able to continue her musical journey until now after joining Inonaka Music.
The second album "Specter" released this time includes 11 songs such as "TEMPLATE" released in March last year, "Syakunetsu Nite Junjou (wii-wii-woo)" first revealed through the 3D live on November 4, "Broadcast Room" released on December 7, and "soirée (ソワレ)" released on December 19. In particular, it has become a hot topic as famous producers such as Ayase from the popular Japanese group YOASOBI, Tabuchi Tomoya from UNISON SQUARE GARDEN, vocaloid producer Nanahoshi Orchestra, and Tatsunoya Kitani have participated in providing music.

On the 20th of January (Friday), Hoshimachi Suisei made her first virtual streamer appearance on Sony Music's YouTube channel "THE FIRST TAKE", and it surpassed 5 million views in just three days. As of January 26, it has recorded 6.28 million views, and at the time of the first streaming release, it recorded more than 160,000 simultaneous viewers, breaking the record for the highest simultaneous viewers in "THE FIRST TAKE" history.
